School and life

[ - What is the difference between school and life? In school, you're taught a lesson and then given a test. In life, you're given a test that teaches you a lesson.”
- Yes, buy why do all of "life's" lessons have to be so damn hard?]
Because for one, at school you pay both for the lesson and the test. In life, the test comes for free, therefore you have to pay double for the lessons. For two, in school you often pay with your money. In life, you pay for the lessons with your ego. It is losing the ego that is so very hard, not the lessons!
[ One of my friends often used to ask me: What do they teach you in the school of life?]
